Meet Damcho
Damcho is an experienced educator with almost nine years in the sector. Her career began in secondary teaching after completing a Bachelor of Education in Science, majoring in Physics and Mathematics. Over time, her interest in child development deepened, leading her to further studies in Information Technology and, most recently, a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care — a shift that affirmed her passion for supporting children and families in the early years.
Her early experiences helping to care for her younger siblings sparked a belief in the importance of nurturing children from the very beginning. She loves seeing children grow in confidence, curiosity, and connection, and finds joy in those moments when their discoveries light them up from within.
Damcho is passionate about creating calm, predictable environments where children feel safe, valued, and understood. She believes deeply in the power of strong, trusting relationships and loves working closely with colleagues and families to support each child’s learning journey. At St Luke’s, she values the warm, relational approach and the way the team works together to ensure every child and family feels welcomed and supported.
