Alice is an experienced early childhood educator with more than 20 years in the sector. Her career began soon after leaving school, when nannying during university revealed her passion for working with young children. This led her to pursue Early Childhood Education, a path that has shaped her work ever since.
She loves seeing the possibilities within young children — their curiosity, capability, and resilience. Watching their growth, their “lightbulb moments,” and the confidence they gain as they explore their world continues to inspire her every day.
Alice is passionate about creating nurturing, meaningful learning experiences where children feel valued, capable, and understood. She believes that when children feel emotionally safe and supported, they thrive socially, personally, and academically. She sees early learning as the foundation for lifelong outcomes, building confidence, resilience, problem‑solving skills, emotional regulation, and social competence.
Alice values St Luke’s for its warm, relational approach and the way the team goes the extra mile for every child, fostering a close‑knit, welcoming community for families.
